Pattonair Logistics strengthens & restructures the senior team

Pattonair Logistics Limited, a subsidiary of Umeco plc, today announces the promotion of Chris Turner to Managing Director, together with the appointment of two new Directors.

Chris Turner joined the Company in April 1998 from Tenneco Automotive. His background is manufacturing logistics and distribution management.Chris Turner will be joined on the Board by Paul Egan and Wayne Hollingshead, who take up the roles of Materials Director and Operations Director respectively.

Paul Egan joins the Company from Marshalls of Cambridge where he was Head of Purchasing. Previously Paul was with Smith Industries, where his last post before joining Marshalls was Director of Supply Management for the Aerospace Division.

Wayne Hollingshead has been with the Pattonair Logistics since its launch in January 2000. During this initial development phase he has played a central role in the successful implementation of The Rolls-Royce plc 'C' Class Initiative. Prior to joining Pattonair Logistics, he was employed by the Lear Corporation in the position of Operations Manager.

Jason Crabtree will continue to play a key role in the continued development and success of Pattonair Logistics through his previously announced move to Chief Executive of Umeco's Components Division. Chris Turner will continue to report to Jason Crabtree.

In addition to these changes Ian Davies, currently Finance Director of Pattonair Logistics and Pattonair International, is promoted to the newly created role of Commercial Director, Components Division. Ian will take up the post over the coming months, until which time he will continue to oversee the Finance Functions at Pattonair Logistics and Pattonair International. Further permanent changes in this area will be announced in due course.
