Following on from the announcement in relation to the successful completion of the acquisition of Provest Srl, I am very pleased to advise that Nick Robins has been promoted to the position of Managing Director - Distribution for the European, Middle East and Asia regions.

As a feature of this new role, Nick will take responsibility for the management and development of the Provest business and the Compstock Electronics operation in addition to the Pattonair European activities currently under his leadership.

Wayne Hollinshead, who is the Managing Director of Ulogistics Europe, our total service provision company, will continue to report directly to me.

As part of the clearly stated Umeco Components global strategy, further announcements will be made in due course in relation to the branding of the companies now under Nick's management.

As part of this extremely positive process, I am pleased to also confirm that Kevin Sargent has been promoted to the position of General Manager for the Pattonair facilities located in Woking and Paris.

On joining the group Lorenzo Ghiglino who is based in Milan has become the General Manager for Italy with the additional responsibility for Southern Europe.

Both Kevin and Lorenzo will report directly to Nick as will Jamie Whyte the Managing Director of Compstock.

These developments form part of the structured process designed to underpin and improve upon our market leading position in Europe in addition to facilitating increased penetration into several new and emerging regions.

This European announcement follows on from the strengthening and restructuring of our North American Distribution team that was successfully put into effect during the first half of our financial year.
